PSV is busy with renovations during the summer break. Work is underway at the Philips Stadium on a brand-new players' area, the Board & Sponsors floor is receiving an upgrade, and work has begun on the second floor north. At PSV Campus De Herdgang, the frame of what will become the new Stadion De Herdgang is now in place. At the bottom of this message, you will find various sketches.
The renovation started immediately after the last home match. Time is of the essence: everything must be completed before the first practice match at the Philips Stadion in late July. From that moment on, PSV will have a renovated dressing room area with the most modern facilities, and the north side of the stadium will resemble the façade from the seventies. The scoreboards will also be replaced, which goes hand in hand with the construction of extra skyboxes. At the same time, the third floor on the south side will also be renovated.
Changing room area
The renovation of the changing room area includes the players' tunnel, the mixed zone, and of course the changing rooms for the home and away teams, as well as the referees. Thanks to LED boards, the theme can be easily adapted: from PSV and Oranje to the UEFA Champions League.
Stadium Tour
The Philips Stadion remains accessible to the public, but the work will affect visitors of the PSV Stadium Tour.
