In this presentation, Maarten outlined how the medical staff at AJAX is structured. How the daily tasks are divided. This gave the audience a clear picture of the size and capabilities of AFC AJAX's medical staff.
In the second presentation, Maarten provided an explanation of the 'Return to Play Protocol' at AFC AJAX. The audience listened attentively and were taken through the details of the work of a medical staff within a professional football organisation.
In the third presentation, Maarten went into great detail about the rehabilitation of a player who was injured just before a final tournament. This player had to undergo surgery, and yet, through intensive guidance from the medical staff and hard work from the player, this player made it to the European Championship.
